This Sickness is NOT unto death

John 11:4: When Jesus heard that, He said, this sickness is not unto death but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby

I’m here to tell you that God is still in the healing, blessing, and deliverance business.  They used to sing: Oh Zion, what’s the matter now? They don’t preach like they used to preach…they don’t pray like they used to pray; Oh Zion, what’s the matter now? People are looking to be delivered. Where are the saints of God? Are we about our Father’s business? Where did your faith go? Have you stopped believing? Have you stopped trusting in God’s word?

So shall my word that goeth forth out of my mouth, it shall not return to me void but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Isaiah 55:11

Jesus is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Hebrews 13:8

Trust in His Name. No matter what the situation, do we still plead the blood of Jesus? Sometimes our problems get the best of us. We start crying and complaining. Oh woe, it’s me. However, do you know the power of prayer and praise? Cast your burdens upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee, He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

I read where it said that the prayers of the righteous availeth much. God hasn’t forsaken us. He left the Holy Spirit. See, we take the Holy Spirit for granted. We don’t use it to its full potential. Jesus said greater work should we be able to do if we believe in Him. If you knew how powerful the Holy Spirit is. That’s our Comforter. That fighting Spirit. That Spirit lets us say that I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me.

The enemy tries to throw things at us. Hit us with the low blows—the sucker punches. But we have to stay on our toes. In boxing, I heard you should stay on the balls of the feet. It helps you to stay balanced. It ensures you can compensate for any threatening blows that knock you off balance. In my life, the word of God is my boxing stance. It keeps me grounded, balanced, standing on the balls of my feet. Ready to go toe to toe with the enemy. Thou word have I hide in my heart. It allows me to fight against the adversary. No matter the punches the enemy throws. I have my weapon, the word of God. It’s the best counterattack. It prepares me for spiritual warfare. It has me suited in the whole armor of God. Ready for battle. This spiritual warfare is real and will wipe you out if you do not prepare. Strap on the breastplate of righteousness. Shield of faith. Be ready at all times. With God on your side, you cannot lose. No weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Learn how to speak boldly for God. No matter what the situation looks like. Even when you feel like you’re giving your all, it takes every breath to keep pushing. And, the battle seems too hard to fight. Stand on His word.

The scripture talks about a sickness that was taking Lazarus out. What is sickness? It is an illness, a disorder, a weakness, or an unsound condition. The enemy will try to bring all forms of sickness your way, whether health, mental, or state of mind. Nevertheless, I’m here to tell you that sickness is not unto death. Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, shall he live. The story proceeds to tell us that Jesus went to Lazarus. He didn’t go when Mary wanted him to or when the people felt he should have gone. Jesus went when He said it was time for me to get the glory. And when Jesus showed up, a supernatural thing happened. Jesus called his name. Lazarus, come forth. He that was dead came forth! Jesus said, lose him and let him go. See, God, is calling some names. He wants people to be loose and set free. God is saying to tell them to live and not die. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest. He wants us to have life and have it abundantly.

Speak life over your situation, children, marriage, and finances. Speak life over disappointments and hurt. Knowing that all is for the glory of God that the Son of God may be glorified.

Job said though He slays me, yet will I trust in Him. I know it’s nothing too hard for God. When I look back over my life and all God has done for me, my soul cries out hallelujah, and I thank God for saving me.

See, I need you to know the storm won’t last forever. When it seems like the rain keeps pouring, it doesn’t look like the sun will shine soon. Grab your umbrella, cover-up, and walk through the storm.

We must learn how to fight the enemy with the word of God. Study His word, fast, and pray. People are looking to be healed, saved, and delivered. Rise, church, and take your righteous place. Go back to trusting God for supernatural miracles. I’m a living witness that he will and can do miraculous things.

Operate in faith and the Holy Spirit. Call those things that are not as if they were. See it with your spiritual eyes. Know there is nothing too hard for God. Trust and believe in the powers of God.

Let us get back to walking a holy life. Not wavering. In James, it tells us that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. You can’t be in and out. Only doing what is pleasing to man’s eyes, but your heart isn’t right. God knows the heart of men, so Jesus gave us the first and greatest commandment, Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Today, line yourself up with God. Let Him speak to you, use you, and guide you. You were predestined for a purpose. God said before I formed thee in the belly, I know thee; I sanctified thee.

Reach your destiny.

Don’t let the enemy stop you. Don’t say I’m too old or young, tired, to messed up. God uses whom he chooses. We all make up the kingdom of God. Are you a slacker in the kingdom? The weakest link? Get about your Father’s business. People are waiting to hear a word from you. Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. Tell people that the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endureth to all generations. It’s not too late. Get in your boxing stance, ready to fight the enemy, speaking the word of truth. Saying, upon this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Do not be afraid to rebuke the spirits of the enemy that come to steal, kill, and destroy.  We were told that whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. Walk boldly for the Lord. Saving and delivering his people with God’s mighty Holy Spirit. Jesus said greater works shall we be able to do.

Again, sickness is not unto death. Live and not die. Walk in the Lord. Delight yourself in the Lord. Trust him and watch his mighty hands open doors no man can close. Heal the sick. Deliver and cast out spirits that have people in bondage and shackles. Trust that God will remove and set the shackles free. And, it’s not by our might, but God’s so that He may get the glory and the praise.

Choose this day whom you will serve. God is faithful and to keep you through all. Trust Him and watch how He turns your life around, opens doors, and makes your name great among many. He’s God, and there’s nothing impossible for him to do.  Walk in your purpose. You have been too complacent for way too long. Arise and follow God’s plan for your life.

My brothers and sisters, I encourage you today. Don’t give up. Don’t let the devil steal your joy, praise, or purpose. When things look hard, remember God hasn’t forsaken you. This sickness is not unto death but for God to get the glory. Rejoice in all things. Count it all joy when you fall into various trials.

Genesis 50:20 Ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

God is waiting to do some supernatural things. More than eyes could ever imagine. Let us all, the body of Christ, decide to go out and speak God’s word and prepare the way for God to do some supernatural things in people’s lives.
